my "surprise" 30th party...

My hubby and my sisters had asked me months ago what I wanted to do for my birthday....as I recall I said I wanted it to be fun and have a big party....well apparantly they said that I wanted a "surprise"....which I know I did not say, I just didn't want to plan it. Gretchen, you can be the mediator....have you EVER known me to like surprises?!?! EVER?!?! :) Well I'm like an annoying, nosy lil' child and I kept prying. So to be honest, yes I knew something was going on...but I didn't know what. And I was surprised until we walked in....... But thanks for the planning and everything. Just having my family and such great friends there was so great! And my hubby did surprise me THIS weekend and arranged someone to watch the kids so just him and I could go out for a "date night"....that was fun to be surprised with a night with him! :)

so these gals are some of the greatest friends in the world!!! We've been friends since we were toddlers! How special to have these gals in my life.

and my of course my awesome sisters (minus one special sister).....how great they are. :)

dedicating Harper...

I'm a bit behind on things I've been wanting to post....this is from Mothers Day. We had Harper dedicated @ church finally. It was a special day to have it, with some of our sisters there and both our moms. And the four of us matched...NOT planned...we realized it when we got in the truck to head to church. :)

I just heard tonight that Steven Curtis Chapmans youngest daughter (5 yr old Maria)died this afternoon after being run over in her driveway today. Please PRAY for their family. This video is his song Cinderella that I used in Harpers one year video.

Birthdays this last week...

Happy Birthday to my mom last tuesday. And happy birthday to a chubby monkey yesterday. that's funny...this chubby lil' monkey looks like me sort of. Hmmm. This is like a 30 year old picture. :)
