Could Colorado really be better than this?

My sister is moving to Colorado today. We are so sad to see her go! My kids adore her and always love when she comes over. We will miss her so much but wish her nothing but Gods blessings. We know she will come home often.....how could she stay away too long from these lil' monkeys?!?!

This week we had our neighbors and good friends move out of town. :( Brady has been really bummed out, yet sometimes I don't think he quite gets it that we can't just go to see Danae and the kids down the street. I think he may think they are tearing down their house and building a new one right there for some reason. :) Anyways....I have known Danae for a long time, but living on the same street for the last 2 years we have gotten to know each other really well and our kids love playing together. I have found a very sweet genuine friend and am thankful for our friendship. I know we will still be good friends even though your not just right down the street! :) Love ya!

a trip to Chicago...

last monday we took a trip up to Chicago to take the kids to the Shedd. (Free admission last week....yipee!) It was fun to get away for the day and we ate at PF Changs for dinner on the way home. :)

4th birthday party

Our monkey turns 4 tomorrow! We had his birthday party over the weekend while his cousins were here from MN. He was so excited to have them here. Here's a video from the party. :)
